Counts and surveys

Developing a mobility policy or designing public space projects requires a detailed understanding of how the area functions and of the practices of the users who move through it. To that end, we have developed expertise in public space surveys as well as in the qualitative and quantitative observation of mobility flows.

In Detail

Stratec has proven experience in data collection, auditing and analysis:

Traffic counts (directional, automatic), all modes,
Passenger counts on the public transport network,
Traffic surveys (origin–destination),
Parking and delivery surveys (occupancy and turnover),
Inventory of equipment in public space (signage, pavement condition, cycling facilities, etc.),
Fauna/flora surveys,
Road safety audits.
