Impact Assessment / Study
An environmental impact assessment is often required when applying for a permit for large-scale projects. It allows for the evaluation of potential impacts on the environment in a broad sense (mobility, air, water, soil, fauna, flora, etc.) and the proposal of measures to avoid, reduce, or compensate for negative effects.
Depending on the nature of the project, this assessment can take different forms: evaluation notice, environmental impact report, appropriate Natura 2000 assessment, or environmental impact assessment (EIA). For the latter, only an accredited consultancy can intervene.
