Pricing involves setting the price of a product or service, or more precisely, the prices for a range of products or services. This often involves a range of prices tailored to different types of users or customers.
Challenges
Pricing is a major challenge for financing transport infrastructure and services, but it also presents significant social (equity, acceptability, etc.) and environmental (internalization of external transport costs) challenges. Often reduced to simplistic concepts in public debate (e.g., the price of a metro ticket), pricing requires in-depth analysis to objectify the consequences of pricing choices.

Stratec has expertise in pricing issues and possesses the appropriate methods and tools to develop relevant and effective pricing in light of defined objectives and to evaluate the impacts of pricing choices: traffic models, stated preference surveys, price elasticities, etc.
Stratec also conducts studies on pricing integration between several operators (feasibility, pricing scenarios, revenue distribution scenarios, etc.).
